mmmm. i would say that the interview went pretty well. a bit weird cuz it was at the director's house in the lower haight cuz she broke her leg and isn't super mobile, which was convenient but a bit weird. and she was super hard to read, like did she dig what i was saying or think i was a faker or what? c'mon people, stoism is so 1999, find your emotional inner child already! i dunno. but she's gonna offer the job to whoever she offers it to at the end of the week, and it's a bit exciting cuz it's actually 24 hours instead of 16 which i might be able to make work budget-wise and the possibility of just having one job is infinitely more appealing. and dude, i would be teaching science and gardening to elementary school kids. and playing running games. and mentoring teen interns. dreamy.
but i'm still sending out cover letter/resumes madly in the hopes of a bite. think of me if you go fishing.
in other news, i went out tonight with pj's friend erika and her friend colleen. ate sushi (YUM). and found super nice and super sarcastic people to just shoot the shit with and laugh and be irreverent with. i love sarcasm and sarcastic irreverent people. hooray for sushi and coffee and laughing so hard that pieces of vegan donut almost come out of my nose. :) i got to tell the story about the lesbian forest ranger ("too bad they don't have desert hearts") and getting to pose as a soft butch for 72 hours in diablo, washington. what a good story.
also started kale, cilantro, chard, and spinach seeds on the window sill today.
