scary

last night i was very scared.

i got woken up at 3:30AM by some loud crashing noises outside. jill is gone right now, and in that moment i couldn't remember whether or not i locked the front door (we leave it unlocked a lot cuz there's another door before the outside that is always locked). it was super scary. i couldn't figure out if i should get up and go investigate, couldn't think of anyone to bug at that time of night, and when i thought it was done and had just been an animal or the wind or something, it would happen again. didn't get back to sleep until 4:30 or so and now am feeling mega out of it. of course when i woke up the next morning and looked outside, everything was in place, didn't look like anything had fallen over or anything, so it's officially a mystery.

so now i'm tired. and i miss seattle. and my friends. and living with other people who would be home to hear crashing the middle of the night and would investigate it with me.

but i did just get myself some pumpkin ice cream at mitchell's so all isn't lost.
